New Brains, New Web
So, this is a new website (it’s almost there) and blog to co-inside with my PhD research, and other fun projects (new iPad app coming soon). Having been awarded a scholarship to allow me focus on my doctorate full-time, I’m leaving my Course Leader post in Brighton, which has been really fun, and I’ll be focusing on my Brain-Computer Music Interfacing (BCMI) research and doing some more freelance work on the side.
Some exciting things coming up:
- I’m off to CMMR in Marsielle next month to present on, and perform my new BCMI piece Flex. Flex is a quadraphonic performance based game using control coming only from EEG measurement.
- I’m working on a piece with Professor Eduardo Miranda for the Peninsula Arts Festival, 2014. We are developing a system for the Bergersen string quartet and four BCMI users. A score, presented to the musicians, is controlled in real-time by the user’s brain activity.
Watch this space for updates.
